On November 30th, a local stakeholder workshop will be held in the Luia sub-basin in Tete, Mozambique, where the DAFNE project will be introduced to local stakeholders, as part of the annual nexus hotspot meetings that are focused on communicating DAFNE project activities and results. This workshop will be organised by IWMI and Eduardo Mondlane University (EMU) under the following objectives:
- Getting a local perspective on key issues and challenges in water, energy and agriculture and understanding potential for nexus across identified issues and challenges
- Communicating DAFNE project activities and results
- Identifying key communications channels available to the local stakeholders and fostering ongoing dialogue around WEF nexus issues through such channels.
